Labor Day Tips
Now Playing: Part One: August 25
Topic: Getting Organized 101
It's none too soon to begin getting organized for Autumn in your business or practice. Or, for that matter in your projects: writing or getting fit, or whatever you may be up to. (A coach can help with all of this!) 1. Make a list of "To Do's" today. Include resetting your appointment book, if you're changing any times or have taken on a new accountability. 2.Make whatever phone calls you may need to set your schedule for at least a month. 3. Check that your paperwork is current. This may mean variously: licenses, authorizations, recredentialling, whatever the state and your professional group may require. If you need CEU'S or CME'S schedule those now, too. 4. Check supplies of letterheads, brochures, business cards - all those things that you don't want to run out of the day before your first public appearance of the Fall. 5. Be sure to schedule time for yourself!! I use highlighters to mark my book (I know, so not techie, but right at hand - yellow for clients, blue for other appointments (like docs and meetings) and pink for me! This is the very first thing I do to set up my book each month. Make yourself a priority, too! Have fun! More soon. Please add comments especially on what I've left out so far! Thanks.
